In contrast to the tradiitional system, at PARRAMON EXPORTAP we boil the cork bundles in a continuous clean shower in such a way that all the tannins and volatile components components (organochlorides) capable of crating sensory problems are greathly reduced.
In contrast to sterilising in an autoclave, our system offers other important improvements too -notable among these is the fact that neither steam nor pressure arre used, which makes the process much less aggressive toward the cork's cellular structure.
